Our handmade bars

Every bar is made by hand in small batches, so each one looks a little different from the last.

Made slowly, by hand

Handmade soap can't be rushed. Taking our time is what makes each bar silky and long-lasting.

  1. New moon

    Blend

    Olive oil, coconut and castor oil, and shea or cocoa butter are melted and blended until the batter thickens.

  2. First quarter

    Pour

    Goat milk and honey go in, and the batter is poured by hand into loaf and round molds.

  3. Waxing gibbous

    Cut

    The loaf is unmolded and hand cut into thick bars, finished with coffee or pink salt on top.

  4. Full moon

    Cure

    Bars rest for weeks while they harden, so the lather turns creamy and mild and the bar lasts longer.

Pink Moon Soap is locally owned and was founded in Abita Springs, Louisiana. Every bar is made here by hand in small batches by Karen, then packed and shipped to customers around the world.

Extra virgin olive oil
Mild and moisturizing. The base of every Pink Moon bar.
Coconut & castor oil
Coconut gives big, cleansing bubbles. Castor makes them creamy and lasting.
Shea & cocoa butter
Rich butters that leave skin soft and silky instead of tight.
Goat milk
Naturally gentle and creamy. A favorite for sensitive and dry skin.
Honey
Draws moisture to the skin and adds a soft, luxurious lather.
